Analysis

This action commenced on June 21, 2024, by the filing of the complaint by plaintiff and cross-defendant Y.A. against defendants Alma A. Medina-Figueroa and Multiservice Santa Barbara, LLC. for violation of the Immigration Consultants Act. The case was originally set for trial on 8/6/25, but continued by Stipulation and Order.

This is a demurrer to a second amended cross-complaint filed 6/6/25 and set for hearing on 8/13/25. On 7/1/25, cross-complainants filed a notice expressly stating that they do not oppose the demurrer. Accordingly, the demurrer to the second amended cross-complaint should be sustained without leave to amend.
