Analysis

Bruce Rudman filed a declaration dated 3/14/25 and testifies [summarized]: Ms. Campbell remains unable to assist in her defense and her treating physician, Michael F. Cantwell, MD has opined it may be another 60 days before she is able to do so. That based upon the foregoing, and the fact that CP Builders now is seeking to bring in subcontractors on a cross-complaint, he requests that the matter be continued for 90 days to about June 27, 2025, at which time the newly added cross-defendants should have appeared and the Court can reevaluate the issues plaguing Ms. Campbell. That as soon as Ms. Campbell is medically able, he will complete the discovery and serve the responses on Counsel.

The Court’s Conclusions

There is no option but to embrace the suggestion of counsel.
