Fees in the case seem high.  The fee request amounts to $283.33 per month to manage the conservatorship estate. Normally, this would not draw scrutiny, but it is apparent the public guardian is employing financial professionals to aid in administration duties (i.e. tax prep..etc), it is uncertain whether the Public Guardian’s fee request is justified.

Since the Public Guardian does not submit billing statements, it is not possible to determine the amount of time spent on the management of the estate.  The Court should require billing statements to make the determination of whether the fees are just, reasonable, and in the best interest of the conservatee pursuant to Probate Code section 2623(a)(1).
