The Court Investigator’s Report has been received and recommends that the conservatorship continue. However, the Report reveals the conservatee desires to terminate the conservatorship, which warrants further review under the provisions of the Probate Code that were amended by AB-1194 (a.k.a. #FreeBritneyAct).

Parties must come prepared to discuss whether there is sufficient evidence for the Court to find the Conservatorship may no longer be the least restrictive alternative for protecting the interests of the conservatee. (Prob. Code, §§1850(b) & 1850.5(c).)
