Rita C. Robinett filed a Petition to be appointed conservator of the person on May 27, 2026.  That petition did not receive written objection, and was granted by this court on September 3, 2026.

Despite that procedural posture, Javier Francisco Martinez filed a Petition for Appointment of Probate Conservator on September 2, 2026, without filing a Petition for Removal pursuant to Probate Code section 2651, requesting removal of the Conservator.  Therefore, the Petition may not be heard until accompanied by a proper petition for removal, because the position of conservator is currently filled.
