RULING

  1.  This case is on calendar for September 2 and is a demurrer by Defendant City of Carpinteria to the complaint.
  2.  On calendar for September 30 are a demurrer and motion to strike by Defendant Frontier California, Inc., to the complaint and a demurrer and special motion to strike (anti-SLAPP motion) filed by Plaintiff and cross-Defendant Carpinteria Group LLC to the cross-complaint of Defendant and cross-complainant Frontier California, Inc.
  3.  To avoid duplication of efforts and promote efficiency, the demurrer set for September 2 is continued to September 30, so that all these motions can be heard at once.
