The following is noted for the Court at the hearing:

Zero Asset Estate.  This estate was allegedly established to receive Social Security Death Benefit funds due the minor from the death of her father.  The estate has no assets otherwise.  Because these are the only funds due the minor, and because 1) the representative payee program for SSI allows the guardian to become the representative payee without need for establishment of a guardianship, and 2) continued costs to maintain the guardianship will likely outweigh any benefit of court oversight, it is recommended the Court terminate the guardianship.
