On January 20, 2026, plaintiff Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., filed its motion for an order deeming matters admitted against defendant Jason Kamen. The motion was originally set for hearing on April 27. This motion does not request an award of monetary sanctions. At the April 27 hearing, defendant appeared and requested to file opposition to the motion; the court continued the hearing to May 18. On May 5, defendant filed opposition with a declaration stating that responses to the requests for admission had been served on plaintiff. No reply has been filed. In plaintiff’s case management statement, filed May 12, plaintiff states that discovery is complete. The motion is denied as moot.
