On June 4, 2026, defendant Fresno Pacific University (Fresno) filed its motion to compel responses to discovery from plaintiff Parker Brandt. On June 8, 2026, the court granted defendant Fresno’s motion to quash service of summons, invalidating service of summons on Fresno. Because the court has determined that Fresno has not appeared in this action, that there is now no personal jurisdiction over Fresno, and that there is no present issue of jurisdiction, the motion to compel is moot and will be ordered off calendar.
