CASE ACCESS AND PAYMENT PORTAL SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE:

The court will be performing network maintenance and upgrades on Monday April 20 and Tuesday April 21, beginning at approximately 5:30pm each evening and lasting 2-3 hours. The following must be submitted:

Proof of Publication. Jurisdiction of the Probate Court is obtained by publication in accordance with Probate Code section 8121. (Prob. Code, § 8003(b).) No proof of publication was filed. Publication requires the notice to be published in newspaper adjudicated as a newspaper of general circulation in the city of decedent’s residence. (Prob. Code, §§ 8121, 7122.) Santa Barbara Independent has not been adjudicated a newspaper of general circulation in the city of Lompoc, where Decedent was a resident. A declaration of substantial compliance is required. (Prob. Code, § 8122.)
