Plaintiff is instructed to file a Notice of Related Case, following all necessary procedures in  California Rules of Court, rule 3.300, identifying Thomas California Investments LP v. Old Republic Title Company et al (Case No. 17CV00451) as a related case as it is likely to require substantial duplication of judicial resources if heard by different judges. As Judge Beebe has the earlier case number, Judge Beebe will determine whether the matters are related. If the two cases are related, Judge Beebe will transfer this matter to his court, and place the current motion for a hearing on his law and motion calendar, and send notice to the parties. As a result, the court takes the current motion scheduled for November 4, 2025, in Department 2, off calendar.  If the matter is transferred, the Case Management Conference scheduled for December 15, 2025, before this court, will also be vacated, and a new date will be rescheduled by Judge Beebe.  No appearances are required on November 4, 2025.
