Due to the Petition for Letters of Administration now on calendar, the Petition for Letters of Special Administration is now moot.

On December 28, 2023, a Petition for Letters of Administration was filed by Maria Duran, daughter of the Decedent.  At the hearing on February 20, 2024, Carlos Layola, son of Decedent, appeared and objected to the petition.  Mr. Loyola was ordered to file a written objection before this hearing.  No such objection is on file.

If Carlos Loyola does not file written objection before the hearing, it is recommended the Court find the objection waived pursuant to CRC, Rule 7.801, and grant the petition.
