On February 27, 2023, Maria Teresa Bravo filed a Petition for the Probate of Decedent’s Will and Letters of Administration.  That petition received objection by one of the alleged heirs of Decedent, Justina Mendez Garcia, on May 10, 2023.  That opposition contained an objection to the will and to the appointment of the personal representative.  Justina Mendez Garcia also filed a competing petition to be appointed personal representative on July 7, 2023.

On January 31, 2024, Justina Mendez Garcia filed a request to dismiss the will contest.  This leaves a contest for appointment as personal representative at issue, requiring evidentiary hearing to resolve.

All interested persons entitled to notice have been served.

It is recommended the Court set an evidentiary hearing on the contested appointment as Personal Representative.
