It is recommended the Court grant the petition as presented and approve counsel’s request for a simplified accounting.  Appearances are required to set a date for discharge of the guardian pursuant to Probate Code section 2627.

Probate Code section 2627 requires the ward to settle the account and provide the discharge, and does not allow such discharge until “one year after the ward has attained majority.” (Id. at subd. (b).)
